Virginia State Police Investigating After Shots Fired At Dodge Charger On I-66 In PWC

Virginia State Police are investigating reports of shots fired on I-66 on Monday morning.

Shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 25, Virginia State Police troopers were called to investigate a shooting on the interstate near the Prince William and Fairfax County line.

According to police, a Dodge Charger was heading west on I-66 near mile marker 47 when one of its windows was struck by a bullet, though the driver escaped any injury and was able to pull to the side and call 911.

The suspect vehicle was described only as a dark-colored sedan, which continued west on the interstate.

It remains under investigation.
