Bowie resident Amarii Fontanelle, 20, is facing multiple counts of murder and other offenses after being indicted for the October 2022 killings of Reginald Cooper, Jr., and Davonte Berkley. Metropolitan Police Commander Tasha Bryant said that at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, officers from the department responded to the 500 block of 11th Street SE, where there were reports of multiple gunshots.
