A 53-year-old man has been arrested for intentionally hitting another man with his car during an argument at a Prince William County hotel then leaving the scene, police said. Michael Lee Beach was in a physical fight with a 51-year-old acquaintance at the Red Roof Inn on Automotive Drive in Manassas around 10:10 p.m. Sunday, April 21, county police said. A 43-year-old man was arrested after an armed burglary and then barricading himself inside of his own Arlington home overnight Thursday, Oct. 19, authorities said. Jermaine Chambers, 43, has been charged with Attempted Malicious Wounding, Burglary with Intent to Commit Assault and Assault & Battery (x2). A 22-year-old man snatched an acquaintance's infant from her while out shopping, then got into a vehicle with the baby and tried running the mother over in northern Virginia, authorities said. Deyvon Marquette Newman was in Gabes on Sudley Road in Manassas around 3:45 p.m. Sunday, April 30 when the incident occurred, Prince William County police said. A man trying to avoid a speeding ticket earlier this month crashed into a car, sending a 25-year-old mom and her two 4-year-old boys to the hospital, police said. A domestic dispute turned violent earlier this week when a 38-year-old man attacked a Dumfries woman and her neighbor, police said. Sean Devan Taylor, of Richmond, got into an argument with a friend at her Antrim Circle apartment on Wednesday, June 1, that escalated when he grabbed a helmet and smashed her television, Prince William County police said.
