Woman's Body Pulled From Newport News Boat Basin

A woman's body was found Sunday morning, April 30 in a Newport News boat basis, authorities said.

The local fire department responded to the Peterson Yacht Basin around 11:40 a.m., where they recovered the body.

The woman's identity has not yet been released and the cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner.
