A 63-year-old Stafford woman got her third-ever DUI after she passed a school bus, police said. Ellen Brandon showed clear signs of intoxication when a Stafford County Sheriff's deputy pulled her over after she ignored a bus stop sign around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, Sheriff David Decatur said. The Speed Limit On This Major Virginia Roadway Is About To Drop
Virginia's transportation department is forcing drivers to slow down. Come Tuesday, May 23, the speed limit on Richmond Highway (Route 1) will go from 45 mph to 35 mph.
