Six men who thought they were having sexual chats with children online were actually speaking with undercover detectives, authorities in Loudoun County announced. The arrests were the result of a week-long internet chat operation between the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) and Northern Virginia—Washington DC Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (NOVA-DC ICAC) during the week of April 8. Bodycam footage shows the moment a police saved pets from a burning home in Fairfax County earlier this month (scroll for video). The officer was on patrol when he saw smoke coming from the top floor of a townhouse in Pembrook Village Drive in Mount Vernon around 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, the department said on social media. The officer knocked on the door with no answer. As the officer was warning homes nearby, a neighbor told the officer there were pets inside the burning townhouse. Authorities in Virginia are offering an $11,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a murder suspect. Kyjuan Omar Braxton Trott-McLean, 43, of Mount Vernon, is wanted on a second-degree murder charge and firearm offenses in the Sunday, Oct. 2 killing of 31-year-old Brandon Wims of Maryland, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. Officers were called around 7 a.m. to the 5800 block of St Gregorys Lane in Mount Vernon on a report of gunshots, they said.
