Officials say that two women are lucky to be alive after a violent rollover crash in Stafford County. Two from Centreville were taken to an area hospital earlier this week after a woman allegedly was under the influence before crashing and coming to rest on the side of Kings Highway, according to a spokesperson from the sheriff's office. Wanted Man Flees On Foot, Driver Busted After Pursuit Into Fredericksburg: Stafford Sheriff
One person was arrested and a second wanted man managed to flee following a police pursuit in Stafford County that ended in Fredericksburg earlier this week. Stafford resident Cash Phelix, 18, took deputies on a wild ride on Sunday night as they sought 19-year-old Tylor Asbury, who was wanted for felony eluding in King George County, officials say. Driver Killed Speeding Into Tree Attempting To Avoid Traffic Stop In VA
A 27-year-old whose driver’s license was already revoked for a previous DUI-related offense was killed after attempting to speed away from a traffic stop in Stafford County on Monday night. Robert Riley, 27, of Port Royal, died after crashing into a tree while attempting to evade members of the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office who caught him speeding in Fredericksburg, according to a spokesperson for the agency. Police ID Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Truck In Stafford County
A 54-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a truck in Stafford County, authorities said. Karen Vincent, of Stafford, died at the scene of the crash on Kings Highway and Forest Lane Road around 1:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. The truck driver remained at the scene, but authorities determined that no charges would be filed against them. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the victim," the office said.
