A tip from a car website has solved another missing puzzle piece in a hit-and-run crash that killed a Virginia mom, whose husband died years before.
Fu-Tzu "Mary" Wong, 63, was crossing Huntsman Boulevard from west to east within the crosswalk when she was hit by an unidentified vehicle on Dec. 27, 2023, Fairfax County police said. Wong was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and died on Jan. 29, 2024, according to a GoFundMe page launched for her family and police.

Police in Virginia are seeking the public's help with the investigation of a hit-and-run crash that killed a tractor trailer driver in the roadway of I-81.
James W. Carr, Jr., 64, of Alton, NH, was struck by a northbound vehicle sometime between 5 a.m. and 8:12 a.m. on Saturday, March 23 on the highway stretch in Shenandoah County, Virginia State Police said.
The hit-and-run vehicle did not stop, and could possibly have front end-damage from the crash near the 296-mile marker, police said.
