Courtney Hanneman of Fredericksburg died on Tuesday, March 19, according to her obituary on the Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service website. She was 39 years old.
Courtney is survived by her husband of 10 years, Timothy, whom she affectionately called her Hubbles — she, his Waffles, her obit says.

Two Dead In Fiery Spotsylvania Crash Identified: State Police
Two people died in a fiery crash early Monday, March 11 in Spotsylvania County, authorities said.
A 2023 Jeep Compass was heading east on Route 636 when the driver, Henry L. Minor, of Fredericksburg, crossed a double solid yellow centerline, ran off the left side of the roadway, and collided with a tree around 7:25 a.m., a spokesperson for the Virginia State Police said.
The Jeep then went up in flames, killing Minor and his 45-year-old Locust Grove passenger, Kathy A. Watkins, police said.
The crash happened just before the One Iron Boulevard intersection.

Weekend Warriors: These Drivers Led Police Pursuits Through Stafford Hours Apart, Sheriff Says
Two drivers have been arrested after leading police pursuits through Stafford over the weekend, police said.
The first began around 1:10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, and involved a Maryland man named Timothy Clark, 56, was wanted out of Stafford, Prince William, and Fredericksburg, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said in a release.
The incident involving Clark began when Deputy E.T. Osborn responded to Wawa, located at 9 South Gateway Drive, for a larceny. Staff said a man, later identified as Clark, stole a crate of Marlboro cigarettes.

800 Fentanyl Pills, Marijuana Found In Major Virginia Drug Bust, Police Say
A 24-year-old Fredericksburg man was arrested after police seized more than 800 fentanyl pills from his apartment.
The Fredericksburg Police Department’s Special Equipment Tactical Team executed a search warrant on an apartment in the 600 block of Greenbrier Court, the home of Jaquan Mincy, on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 6:30 a.m., police said.
There, they found more than 800 pressed fentanyl pills, approximately 300 grams of marijuana, more than $10,000 in cash, and drug paraphernalia, local police said.

Services have been set for Teran Collins Jr., who died unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 28, in Richmond, according to his obituary on the Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service website. He was 26 years old.

Brooke Point High School Lacrosse Player Jake Sinclair Dies, 17
Jacob "Jake" Sinclair died on Jan. 16, 2024, at his home in Fredericksburg, according to his obituary on the Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service website.
Jake's obituary says he was a lacrosse player at Brooke Point High School, and remembers him as a "kind soul with a caring heart," who "always made people laugh." He was 17 years old.

Drunken Fredericksburg Man Terrorizes Stafford Deputies, Wawa, Hotel Staff: Sheriff
A man cursing and screaming at hotel and Wawa employees is behind bars, police in Stafford County said.
A man later identified as Michael Fauntleroy, 55, of Fredericksburg, brought police to the Excel Inn & Suites on Warrenton Road around 1:50 a.m. Jan. 18, for cursing and screaming at an employee, the county sheriff's office said.
Fauntleroy was removed from the property, and authorities hoped that was the end of that. It wasn't.
