The unidentified man was walking south along Rixeyville Road when he was struck by a 2015 GMC Denali also heading south, near Colvin Road around 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, according to state police. The pedestrian was wearing dark non-reflective clothing and was not in a crosswalk, police said. One Dead, Two Flown In 5-Car Crash On Lee Highway Culpeper Crash Two people were flown to hospitals with serious injuries and one person died in a Culpeper County crash Wednesday, Oct. 4. Four westbound vehicles were stopped at a light at Lee Highway and Rixeyville Road — at Clevengers Corner — when a fifth vehicles was unable to stop and rear-ended one of the stopped vehicles around 6:10 p.m., Virginia State Police said.
