A 17-year-old is dead, and a 14-year-old hospitalized following a stabbing incident reported late on Saturday night in Fairfax County, police say. Officers in Annandale were called to the 4200 block of Wadsworth Court at around 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 13, where they were met by the older teen in a grassy area suffering from stab wounds. Improperly discarded fireworks have been identified as the cause of a Fourth of July house fire in Fairfax County, authorities said.
