A man wanted by the US Marshals Service and a friend were found in a stolen car with drugs and weapons in Arlington, police said.
Officers spotted the unoccupied car with an altered VIN and stolen tags in a parking garage on S. Hayes Street around 3:25 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, police said.
Jeffery Queen, 23, of Washington, DC, and Jalen Germany, 23, of no fixed address, returned to the car while police were watching it, they said.

A 24-year-old man who called the police saying he was being kidnapped wasn't being kidnapped at all, authorities in Stafford said.
In fact, Hunter Wellen's "kidnappers" were just his friends, the sheriff's office said.
Trouble began around 12:15 a.m. Sunday, March 10, when Wellen called 911 saying he was being kidnapped, County Sheriff David Decatur said.

A Purceville pair has been charged in two Leesburg burglaries, authorities said.
Samuel Jenkins III, 46, and Abigail Laura, 38, were identified as the pair who went into a business on North King Street around 3 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, and stealing property, Leesburg police said.
Then, on Friday, Jan. 26, the two went into a business on North Street NW around midnight, and stole more property, police said.

A strange situation led to drug charges for two people in Stafford County, authorities said.
Stafford County Sheriff's deputies were called to Southern View Drive for reports of a man chasing another person around 11:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, Sheriff David Decatur said.

Fire & Rescue personnel forced entry into 26-year-old Gillian Nicolette Singstock's home, to find her awake in her Greenaacre Drive home in Woodbridge, around 9:40 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13, county police said.

A pair of fugitives were found with drugs in a weekend traffic stop on I-95 in Northern Virginia.
Deputies pulled over the vehicle driven by 42-year-old Leonard Braxton on the northbound side of the highway in Stafford around 11 p.m. on Nov. 4, after the driver changed lanes without signaling multiple times, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said.

A man wanted out of at least two counties and who had drugs on him was jailed after refusing to get out of his vehicle in a Stafford County stop, police said.
A Stafford County sheriff's deputy spotted Shawn Dao, 40, who was wanted out of Falls Church, Prince William County, and Stafford County, driving near Paradise Estates around 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, Sheriff David Decatur said.
Dao, who was operating the vehicle on a revoked license due to a prior DUI, was immediately argumentative with the deputy who stopped his car, Decatur said.
