Seven people were rushed to a Virginia hospital on Sunday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in Fairfax County. Police say that around 11 a.m. on Feb. 4, officers from the Fairfax County Police Department were called to the intersection of Braddock Road and Bradfield Drive in Annandale, where there was a reported crash that resulted in one fatality. An 80-year-old driver was served on summons-releasable charges in connection to a deadly crash in Fairfax County last month, police announced. Gamaathige Desoya, of Vienna, was trying to turn left onto northbound Kirby Road on Aug. 12 in McLean, when she struck Brigitte Foster, 86, who was in the crosswalk, the FCPD said.
