No Charges For US Park Police Officers Involved In Ill-Fated Pursuit In DC
Four US Park Police officers will not face charges for their roles in a pursuit that led to the death of James Herndon in the summer of 2022, federal authorities announced on Tuesday afternoon. The US Attorney's Office in DC announced on Jan. 23 that there was insufficient evidence to pursue any criminal or civil charges against the officers involved in the June 2022 pursuit that left the motorcyclist dead after he crashed under curious circumstances.
