85-Year-Old Man Stabbed Elderly Wife To Death Over Pancake Dispute In DC, Feds Say
Breakfast turned bloody for an elderly couple in DC when an 85-year-old man stabbed his wife to death over pancakes, according to federal prosecutors. Steven Schwartz has been arrested and charged with the murder of his wife Sharron Schwartz, 81, when he reportedly took umbrage with her meal early on Sunday, Dec. 10. Schwartz did not want to eat the pancakes, and he took out that frustration on his wife, officials say, who was then rushed to an area hospital, where she later died.
