DUI Driver Had Drink, Open Smirnoff Bottle In Car Before Crash, Stafford Sheriff Says Deputies didn't have to work hard to determine that a driver was under the influence before smashing into a tree in Stafford County, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies were called late in the afternoon on Friday to the 600 block of Rock Hill Church Road, when Nokesville native Frances Thompson, 54, lost control and came to a half after striking a tree.
