Six Puppies Kidnapped From Mom In DC, Reward Offered The Humane Rescue Alliance in D.C. has offered a reward of $7,500 in the hopes of finding six stolen puppies, sources said. On September 14, the HRA announced that multiple now five-week-old puppies were kidnapped and stripped from their mother when they were just three weeks old. These puppies are supposed to remain with their mother, Godiva, and littermates until eight to 10 weeks old, the HRA said. $7,500 Reward Offered For Critically Endangered Stolen Puppies After Mother Is Found Abandoned A critical search is on for vulnerable missing puppies that were stolen from their mother who had been transferred to a foster home after being found by the Humane Rescue Alliance(HRA), officials announce. The HRA rescued a pregnant dog, known as Godiva, in mid-July, and tended for her throughout her pregnancy. Godiva gave birth to seven puppies in early August and was transferred to a foster home for the puppies to experience their first weeks of life in a more ideal environment.
