A beloved Washington DC staple is closing its doors for good. The owners of Foxtrot Market announced that it is ceasing its retail operations in DC, as well as its locations across the country, "after much consideration and evaluation," effective as of Tuesday, April 23. An announcement came months after Dom's Kitchen & Market and Foxtrot Market merged. District Man Accused Of Murder At Northwest DC Rec Center: Feds
A 33-year-old District man pleaded not guilty to his role in the murder of Arnold Humberto Solis over the summer at the Marie Reed Recreation Center. Pedro Funes has been charged with first-degree murder while armed for his alleged role in the 30 year old's death on Wednesday, July 26 in the 2200 block of Champlain Street NW in the Adams Morgan neighborhood, federal authorities announced. Solis was reportedly shot and rushed to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
