DC Carjackers Busted By Police Helicopter Following Pursuit On I-695 A pair of carjackers attempted to make a great escape after an armed carjacking in Northwest DC, but did not make it far, according to authorities. Antwon Haynie, 25, and DaQuan Oden, 22, both of Southeast DC, are facing charges after members of the Metropolitan Police Department used a helicopter to track down the fleeing suspects. Shortly before 10:10 p.m. on Thursday night, police say that the two men approached their victims in the 2400 block of 17th Street NW while they were sitting in a vehicle.  They took out guns and stole the victims car, which they then fled in.
