On Sept. 20, one suspect entered Sonia’s Jewelers & Boutique Inc., located at 6681 Backlick Road, at around noon, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.  The man pretended to shop for jewelry, before pulling out a gun and demanding the employees let his accomplice into the store, police reported. Deric Peacock, 39, of Highland Springs, used a messaging platform called "Wickr", to distribute the child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. He committed this crime while  on probation for two previous convictions. Ilia Malinin successfully landed the first quadruple axel in a competition, making Fairfax County very proud, according to the Fairfax County Public Schools' website. Malinin's accomplishment comes after he served as the first alternate for the Olympic Team in Beijing this year, the website said.
