The motorcyclist was struck at the intersection of Joshua Road and Greenleaf Terrace at approximately 5:15 p.m., a spokesman for the county sheriff's office said.

Despite lifesaving measures by a witness, fire and rescue staff, and deputies, the motorcyclist died.
The crash remains under investigation.
