Nakia Pollard, 50, was sentenced to 19 years in prison on Friday, March 7, after pleading guilty to multiple counts of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine, according to the Cecil County State’s Attorney’s Office.

Mynor Romeo Alvarado-Canahui, 36, of Norwalk, pleaded guilty to attempted murder, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree assault, and attempted first-degree sexual assault in connection to the May 2020 attack that left the victim with a fractured skull, broken vertebrae, and permanent hearing loss, state prosecutors said.
