A Maryland native and Greencastle local was killed in a crash on Interstate 81, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday, Oct. 31.
Adam Emerick, 33, of Greencastle, was found dead at the scene of a crash near mile marker 0.8 of I-81 North, near the Maryland/Pennsylvania border, around 2:33 a.m., according to PA State Police.

A 27-year-old woman died and three others were hospitalized by a DUI driver who was driving erratically over the weekend in Lower Mount Bethel Township, authorities said.
Richard Schroeder Jr., 53, of Georgia, was heading south on State Route 611 when he veered into the right shoulder and then back on the road, hitting the driver's side corner of a northbound Subaru Crosstrek around 1:43 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, PA State Police said.

Officials in one Lehigh Valley town are warning residents of a pack of aggressive Pitbulls roaming the streets and attacking other dogs in their own yards.
The pack of three show "major aggression," and attacked one dog who required euthanasia due to her injuries, authorities in North Whitehall said.
