Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash In York County A man has died following a motorcycle crash in York County, according to the area coroner. A helmeted motorcyclist drove through a red light and hit a vehicle at the intersection of East Market and Vernon streets in Springettesbury Township on Wednesday around 8:30 p.m. Emergency Medical Technicians took life-saving measures and he was transported to York Hospital but ultimately the coroner was called. The man was declared deceased at 9:14 p.m. The coroner has identified the victim as Jacob Markwordt, 21, of North Hopewell Township. His cause of death was blunt force trauma. No details …
