An armed robber forced a Pennsylvania woman to strip naked at a Family Dollar on Wednesday, Aug. 2, authorities announced the following week. Hospital Arsonist Bending Over Fires Identified By Police In Spring Garden Twp.
An alleged teenage arsonist spotted on surveillance camera footage at the former UPMC York Memorial Hospital has been identified, according to police. The girl pictured was seen bent over "one of several small fires that had been set" at the defunct hospital located at 325 South Belmont Street, Spring Garden Township at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023. A masked man who broke into someone's property and opened fire at them is on the loose in York County, police say. Spring Garden Township police were called after the homeowner spotted the masked man or older teen in his detached garage in the 900 block of South Edgar Street on Jan. 14 around 2:45 a.m. The homeowner went into the garage and the man turned and shot at the homeowner before fleeing, according to the police release on Wednesday, January 18. Man Who Shot PA Teacher Found Dead: Coroner
A 59-year-old man died by suicide following a deadly dispute with his neighbor on Saturday, May 21, according to a release by the coroner's office. The York Coroner coroner's office was dispatched to the 400 block of Hill Street for an unknown problem at 6:29 p.m., the release explains. Deputy Coroner Michelle Rau determined there had been a "domestic dispute with a neighbor," afterward he was found "with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head." Kylee Nickico Davenport of Harrisburg is accused of robbing a man of his iPhone while displaying a handgun near York College around 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Apr. 26, according to a release by Spring Garden Township police. A convenience store armed robber has been arrested following an early morning car chase involving both local and state police in York County. Nicholas Keith Deller, 43, of Felton, has been charged with armed robbery following the chase. A shooting damaged homes and vehicles, leaving more than 70 shell casings at the scene, say Spring Garden Township Police. Officers responded to a report of multiple shots being fired in the 600 Block Wheatlyn Drive, Spring Garden Township around 10:56 p.m. on Friday.
