Funeral details and a statement from the family have been released after five women returning from Umrah in Mecca, Saudi Arabia were killed on Interstate 81 on Tuesday evening, Jan. 16. The women "were on their way back home from the Dulles airport," their family told Daily Voice. They were struck dead by a tractor-trailer at the 199.3-mile marker in Scott Township, approximately 12 miles north of Scranton, troopers detailed in a release. Randy Keith Turner Jr. of the 200 block of Bethesda Church Road, Holtwood was pronounced dead at 2:55 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's office. A milk tanker spilled on US 22/322 on Wednesday morning, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials say. The tractor-trailer cab was hauling the milk tanker when it crashed at mile marker 236.8, between the Dauphin Narrows and the Front St exit when it crashed, according to PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler.
