PA Man Gets Prison Time For Concealing Dad's Death To Collect Social Security A Monroe County man was sentenced to five years in federal prison this week for covering up his father's death and continuing to cash his checks, according to the US Attorney's Office.  Timothy Gritman, 56, of Brodheadsville, pleaded guilty to Social Security and wire fraud in a federal court exactly one year ago, Feb. 14, 2023, Daily Voice reported. The York County Coroner’s office was called to 200 Masonic Drive York, Manchester Township at 9:17 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023, according to emergency dispatch. Teenage Girl Struck Dead On I-83 In Central PA (Update) A 15-year-old girl was struck dead on Interstate 83 in central Pennsylvania on Friday, Oct. 28, authorities say.  The deadly crash happened near Exit 70 I-83 S/US322 East in Harrisburg around 9:30 p.m., according to PennDOT.  The crash has closed the northbound and southbound ramps for I-81 and I-83.  Crash on I-81 northbound at Exit 70 - I-83 South/US 322 East. Woman, 65, Sexually Assaulted, Strangled To Death In Lancaster County Home, Police Say A woman found dead at her home in Lancaster County was sexually assaulted prior to being strangled, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney's office. Nora Sanchez, 65, of the 300 block of East Main Street in New Holland was found dead in her home on Sept. 1 around 10 a.m., as Daily Voice reported at the time.  Police were originally called to the scene for a welfare check.
