Dog Shot Dead Inside Lancaster County Home, Police Say
A Lancaster County man "shot and killed his dog inside his residence," on Thursday, police announced on Oct 23.
Mark Teague, 63, of Denver, shot the dog after an unknown "incident" at his home in the first block of Main Street in Denver at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Oct. 19, according to the release by East Cocalico police.
Officers arrived at his home following the shooting, after receiving reports of "shots fired," as stated in the release.

Two men were killed along with a family dog following a double murder on Saturday night in Pylesville.
York County, PA's Steven Nolan, 53, is in custody for his alleged role in the murders of Timothy Wayne Witherite, 62, and David Joseph Octavec, 70, both of Pylesville, who were found dead shortly after 8:45 p.m. on July 1.
Officers were called to the 1700 block of Scott Road in Pylesville on Saturday night, where there was a reported shooting with at least two victims who were down.

A 22-year-old man wanted in connection with a deadly drive-by shooting of a dog in central Pennsylvania fled to Ohio, authorities say.
Kaywan Dean Johnson, of Chambersburg, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals in Youngstown, Ohio on Thursday, July 28th, according to Chambersburg police.
One of his two co-conspirators, Dajohn Na'Rayn Sanders, also 22 of Chambersburg, was arrested on Friday, July 22, police say.

Acting on a tip from a Good Samaritan, officers seized 11 dogs, 27 cats, 5 horses, 4 sheep, 1 goat, 2 turkeys, 32 chicks, 4 guinea hens, 6 hens and 8 baby ducks from the property on Pumping Station Road in Quarryville.
