Dead Dog Found On Railroad Tracks In Central Pennsylvania, Police Say A dog wearing a pink collar was found dead in Shippensburg on Thursday, March 21, area police announced around 9 a.m.  The dog was described "as a small female Golden Retriever mix dog," the police stated in the release. It was found dead on the railroad tracks near the 300 block of South Washington Street around 8:48 a.m., police detailed. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cumberland Valley Animal.
