Car Crashes Into CVS In Montgomery County Fire crews responded to the Kugler Road CVS in Limerick on Tuesday, Oct. 3 after a car crashed into the storefront, officials said.  First responders cleared broken glass and debris from the area, said the Limerick Fire Department. Photos from the scene showed damage to the brick facade, windows, and entrance vestibule.  No injuries were reported by firefighters.  An employee told Daily Voice that the store was open again by Wednesday evening, Oct. 4.

Woman, 32, Found Dead At Scene Of Montco Fire: Coroner Montgomery County officials have released the name of the woman found dead at the scene of a Limerick Township house fire on Tuesday, Dec. 14.  Amanda Lynn Cogorno, 32, was found dead on the third floor of a home on the 400 block of Swamp Pike around 11:30 a.m., First Deputy Coroner Alexander Balacki confirmed to Daily Voice.  Cogorno's official cause of death is still pending.  Fire officials have not identified the cause of the blaze, but cautioned Limerick residents to keep their distance while firefighters battled the flames midday Tuesday.  Please use caution on Swamp Pike in Li…

Driver Injured After Crashing Into Pond In Limerick A Limerick driver is being treated for injuries he sustained after crashing into a pond Thursday morning, authorities said. Authorities arrived on the scene around 7:50 a.m. to find a red Kia sedan in a pond behind Alderfer Glass Company on West Ridge Pike, according to the Limerick Fire Department. The driver made it out of the car before rescue crews arrived and is being treated for their injuries, authorities said. No further information was available.
