Stabbing Near SEPTA Station Leaves Victim Critical: Philadelphia Police A 40-year-old man is hospitalized in critical condition after he was stabbed near a Kensington SEPTA station early Wednesday morning, Feb. 28, according to city police.  It happened on the 800 block of East Allegheny Avenue around 1:50 a.m., authorities said.  The victim was stabbed once in the left side of the back and rushed to Temple University Hospital, police said.
