A former PSE&G employee shot and killed his supervisor outside the utility company's Somerset County facility on Wednesday, Feb. 8, authorities say. But this "one-of-a-kind" man's legacy will live on through his daughter, according to his family. Russell "Russ" D. Heller, 51-year-old councilman in Milford, NJ, was gunned down by 58-year-old Gary T. Curtis on Weston Canal Road in Franklin Township shortly after 7 a.m. Feb. 8, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. Dark details surrounding suspected University of Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger have many questioning if he studied to be the perfect criminal. Those were two questions that suspected University of Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger posted to Reddit in a since-deleted thread, apparently while working toward his Master of Arts in criminal justice from DeSales University in Lehigh County. Montgomery County native Amanda M. Decker died on Aug. 30 at the age of 35 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born in Elkins Park, and most recently a resident of Conshohocken, she graduated from Little Flower High School in 2004, and DeSales University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in communications, according to her obituary. DeSales Community Mourns Baseball Player, TV Reporter, Cheerleader Dead In Weekend Crash
The DeSales University community is mourning the loss of a standout baseball player and two graduates killed in a weekend crash that left a senior student injured. The car the group was traveling when the vehicle veered off the road on the 4400 block of Lanark Road and hit a tree around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, in Upper Saucon, authorities said.
