Questions Linger In Birthday Bash Turned Bludgeoning Of 21-Year-Old PA Man Decades after David Allen Gross was found beaten and strangled to death in the trunk of his own car, state police investigators are still seeking answers.  The Mount Pocono resident had celebrated his 21st birthday just days before Upper Mount Bethel police found his locked Chevrolet Monza at the Delaware Water Gap's Arrow Island Overlook off Route 611, according to troopers.  In an archival report from the Allentown Morning Call, authorities said Gross was found in the back, under a tarp in a pool of blood just after 1 a.m. on Aug. 11, 1977.  He had been strangled and …

PA Native, Devoted Uncle Dies Unexpectedly, 33 Pennsylvania native and devoted uncle William Aaron Brosky died unexpectedly in Baltimore, Maryland, on Tuesday, Aug. 30. He was 33. A native of Cresco, Pennsylvania, Aaron graduated from Whitehall High School in 2007, his obituary says. Aaron went on to pursue auto detailing and worked at several different car dealerships throughout his career, according to his memorial. Libyan Charged In Airline Bombing That Killed 270, Including 119 From Daily Voice Area Federal authorities announced charges Monday against an accused Libyan terrorist on the 32nd anniversary of the Flight 103 bombing over Scotland that killed 270 people. Abu Agila Mohammad Masud is charged with terrorism-related crimes in the 1988 bombing over the village of Lockerbie that killed 190 Americans in all, Attorney General William Barr said Monday. The victims in modern-day history’s worst attack on Americans before 9/11 included 33 New Jerseyans and 61 New York State residents, as well as 11 from Massachusetts, nine from Pennsylvania and five from Connecticut (see list below). …
