Berks Bicyclist Dies In Crash On Route 222: Police
A Berks County bicyclist was found dead by a loved one after he was hit by a vehicle on Route 222, according to authorities. Northern Berks Regional Police said the cyclist was located on the highway between Rich Maiden Road and Pleasant Hill Road around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20. The victim was 23-year-old Anson Burkholder of Maidencreek Township, the Berks County Coroner's Office confirmed to Daily Voice. Bicyclist Fatally Struck By Car In Philly Suburbs, Police Say
A bicyclist died at the scene of a crash in Levittown on Monday evening, Sept. 4, according to Falls Township police. Authorities say the bicyclist was hit by a Nissan Rogue on the 9000 block of New Falls Road around 7 p.m. The victim, who was "wearing dark-colored clothing and no helmet," was critically injured and pronounced dead by first responders, police said. Teen Bicyclist Struck Dead In NE Philadelphia: Police
A teenager is dead after being hit by a car while riding his bike in Philadelphia, police told Daily Voice. It happened around 4:15 a.m. on Friday, July 28, the department said. The victim, an unnamed 18-year-old man, was struck at the intersection of Woodhaven Road and Byberry Road in the Northeast, police said. He was rushed to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead just before 5 a.m., they added. The driver fled the scene and police did not provide a vehicle description. The crash remains under investigation by detectives.

Lehigh Valley Doctor Dies Weeks After Bicycle Accident, Coroner Says
A doctor in the Lehigh Valley has died three weeks after a bicycle accident, authorities said. Dr. Lorraine A. Dickey, 60, died Sunday, Aug. 28 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said. Dickey died of complications from a cervical spine injury she suffered in the Aug. 8 accident on the 100 block of Robert Drive in Upper Macungie Township, the coroner said. Bicyclist, 50, Killed In Bristol Township Hit-Run Crash, Report Says
A 50-year-old bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Bristol Township Monday, LevittownNow reports. The crash happened around 1:40 a.m. on Route 13's westbound exit ramp near the Pennsylvania Turnpike, according to the news outlet. A dark-colored vehicle exiting the turnpike and merging onto Route 13 struck and killed the bicyclist, the news outlet says. Lehigh County Man Dies 4 Days After Bicycle Accident In Weisenberg Township
A 52-year-old Lehigh County man died four days after sustaining injuries in a bicycle accident last weekend, authorities said. Anthony Kyvelos, of Fogelsville, was involved in an "unwitnessed bicycle accident" in the 3200 block of Shale Head Road in Weisenberg Township at approximately 7:30 p.m. on July 31, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. Police in Gloucester County seek the public's help locating a hit-and-run driver who allegedly struck a teenage bicyclist, authorities said.
