Tractor-Trailer Carrying 500+ Pigs Overturns On Highway: PennDOT Hundreds of pigs are being rounded up on a Pennsylvania highway on Tuesday afternoon, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler.  The tractor-trailer that was hauling over 500 pigs overturned along 641 near Ridge Road in North Newton Township, around 1 p.m. on Nov. 7, Schreffler explained.  "Some little piggies have made a run for freedom, but are being rounded up. Victim Named In Deadly Wrong-Way Crash On PA Route 22 The Northampton County Coroner's Office has identified the 22-year-old man who died after a wrong-way driver drove up a highway on-ramp between Easton and Bethlehem on Thursday, Oct. 5.  John Michael Woodburn of Bethlehem died from multiple blunt force trauma, Coroner Zachary Lysek said. Elderly Woman Struck, Killed By Teen Driver While Crawling On Lehigh County Road An elderly woman who was crawling on a road in front of her Lehigh County home was pronounced dead Friday after she was struck by a car driven by a teenager, authorities said. Ethel M. Haas, 83, was crawling on the road in front of her Clearview Road home in North Whitehall Township when a 17-year-old boy driving a 2016 Honda Civic, struck her around 10:35 p.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police. The impact pushed Haas' body 15 to 20 feet before stopping near the fog line on the opposite side of the roadway, police said. Police did not identify the 17-year-old driver.
