PA Mom Of 3 Killed Wished Family, Friends Happy Easter In Facebook Post Before Crash
A 38-year-old mom of three has died following a three-vehicle crash in Lancaster County on Saturday, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday, April 1 and her family detailed on social media. Jazmin Dietrich of York died at Reading Hospital the same day as the crash, according to state police in Lancaster. The crash happened on PA Route 222 North just north of Dry Tavern Road in Brecknock Township at 8:33 a.m. on March 30, investigating Trooper Joshua Mease detailed in the release. : Legionnaires' Transplants Kills 1 In PA, CDC
Pennsylvania is making history – for the wrong reason – with the first known cases of Legionnaires' disease in organ donations, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. A bacteria that can cause the deadly lung disease – commonly known as Legionnaires' – has been found in two Pennsylvania lung transplant patients. The transplants were given by a single donor in Philadelphia in May 2022, according to a CDC release on Friday, Sept. 15. Jude Chacko, a Philadelphia resident and Temple University alumnus, died on Sunday, May 28. He was 21. Chacko was found with a gunshot wound to the head a Port Richmond street early on Sunday, Philadelphia police told Daily Voice. The mother of a 19-year-old Towson University student who was killed in a Baltimore County crash said her organs will save the lives of others.
