Kalahari Employee's Husband Surrenders In Crash That Killed Her: Police The husband of a Kalahari Resort employee who was among two killed in a crash last summer has been charged in connection with the incident, authorities in Connecticut announced. Juan Fernandez, 38, of Union City, NJ, surrendered to police on Wednesday, Aug. 17, and was charged with two counts of negligent homicide, among other charges in connection with the crash on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021, in Middlesex County, on Route 15 in Woodbridge.
