22-Year-Old York County Man Admits To Owning 'Self-Made Guns', Oxy., Selling THC: Usdoj A 22-year-old York County man is heading to prison after he admitted to selling drugs from his home, according to a release from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Waylon Hutcheson pleaded guilty on Oct. 26, 2021, to possession with intent to distribute marijuana and receipt or possession of a firearm made in violation of the National Firearms Act, according to the release.  The Red Lion man was sentenced to one year in prison for drug trafficking and firearms offenses on Oct. 24, 2022, as stated in the release.  The charges stem fro…

Cow Shot On Farm In York County: Pennsylvania State Police A cow was shot on a farm in York County, Pennsylvania state police announced in a release on Friday, Sept. 23.  State police were called to the shooting of a cow on East Posey Road in Lower Chanceford Township, Airville on Sept. 8 around 9 p.m.  It is unclear if the injuries the cow suffered were due to a gunshot wound, the police say.  There is state game land near to the farm, but it is unclear if that is connected to this incident.  Posey Road is a cross street of Furnance Road where an Amish family died in a crash on Friday, July 29. Man Arrested In Georgia For Attempted Homicide Of Boy, 13, In York, PA Police in Dekalb County, Georgia have arrested a man wanted for attempted homicide of a boy in York County, Pennsylvania, according to York police. Darryl Peeples, 37, of York, was wanted in connection with the attempted criminal homicide of a 13-year-old boy he shot in 100 block of South Newberry Street at 6:40 p.m on Monday, March 29, as Daily Voice previously reported. Peeples was arrested in Georgia on Wednesday. He will be extradited back to Pennsylvania to face charges.
