Man ID'd After Asphyxiation In Pit At Central PA Garage: Coroner A man repairing a water valve in his garage appears to have asphyxiated, the York County Coroner's Office announced on Wednesday, Nov. 1.  Kennith L. “Ken” Roach, 69, of Thomasville, was found face down in the pit where the water valve is located, according to the coroner's office. Deputy Coroner Molly York was called to a fatality reported at his home in the 1800 block of Detters Mill Road, Washington Township around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 31.
