Fire Police Officer Struck While Directing Traffic, PA Police Say A fire police officer was struck by a passing car while directing traffic for a tow truck, according to Pennsylvania state police. Darryl L. Krom, 58, of Hanover, was hit by a Kia near the intersection of Hanover Pike and Pine Grove Road in Union Township on Sept. 23 just before 7 p.m., as stated in the police report. Krom was transported by Southeastern Adams Volunteer Emergency Services to Gettysburg Hospital, as the report stated. He was treated for a “suspected serious injury,” according to police. Wife Accidentally Drives Over Husband After Deadly Motorcycle Crash, PA State Police Say A 37-year-old man has died in a motorcycle crash, according to Pennsylvania State police. Todd Addison Jr., of Duncannon, died in a crash involving an SUV in Dickinson Township, Cumberland County on Saturday at 11:38 a.m. Addison, driving a Victory motorcycle, and his wife, Suzette Addison, who was driving a Yamaha motorcycle, were traveling southbound along Carlisle Road towards Pine Grove road just before the crash. 1 Dead, 2 Airlifted, 4 Hospitalized In Route 30 Head-On Crash One person died and several others were hospitalized in a head-on crash on Route 30 in Lancaster County Saturday. A silver Chrysler 200 was heading east when it crossed the median and struck a Kia Spectra near the Malleable Road overpass around 6:15 p.m., West Hempfield police said. Two people were flown to Hershey Medical Center and four others were rushed to local hospitals. One person was pronounced dead. The victims' identities were being withheld pending notification.
