74-Year-Old Man 'Inappropriately Touched' 10-Year-Old Girl At His Manheim Home: Police A 74-year-old man "inappropriately touched" a 10-year-old girl at his Manheim home, police say.  Charles Albert Reed allegedly was caring for the girl at his home on Graystone Road in East Hempfield Township when the incident happened in November 2019. It was reported to the police on April 5, 2022. Reed was arrested on September 1 and charged with a felony for Unlawful Contact with Minor- Sexual Offenses, as well as two misdemeanors for  Indecent Assault Person Less than 13 Years of Age and count of Corruption of Minors, according to the release by the police. Motorcyclist, 21, Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash Along Route 72, Authorities Say Update: The motorcyclist has been identified by authorities, you can read about it here.  Three vehicles were involved, including the motorcycle, according to East Hempfield Township police. A Warwick Township public works vehicle was stopped at the stop sign on Quarry Road and was struck by vehicles initially involved in the accident, police say. Route 72 was closed for three and a half hours while police accident reconstructionist investigated the scene, police said in a statement.
