Chesco Man Missing In Lancaster: State Police
State police are searching for 59-year-old Thomas Caldwell, who hasn't been seen since Sunday, Jan. 22. Troopers say Caldwell, of East Nottingham Township, was last spotted on the 2600 block of Robert Fulton Highway in Fulton Township, Lancaster County. At the time, he was wearing a black sweatshirt and a dark-colored ballcap. Caldwell is described as 5-foot-10 and 230 pounds with grey hair. PA Man Gets Life In Prison For Strangulation Death Of Woman Who 'Feared For Her Life'
A Pennsylvania man convicted of first-degree murder in the strangulation death of the woman with whom he shared a home was sentenced to life in prison, authorities said. Daniel Proffitt, 48, of Oxford, was found guilty but mentally ill in July 2021 on charges of murder and strangulation for his role in the 2018 killing of 64-year-old Anna Johnson, Chester County District Attorney Deb Ryan said. One Killed, Another Injured In Wrong-Way Route 1 Crash
One driver was killed and another was hurt following a Tuesday, July 19 wrong-way crash on the Route 1 bypass in East Nottingham Township, authorities confirmed. A 33-year-old Pennsylvania driver was traveling in the northbound lanes between SR472 and SR272 when a 25-year-old wrong-way driver from Maryland struck her vehicle head-on around 5:40 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police said.
