Federal Felon Assaults Sports Official During Lancaster Midget Football Game: Authorities
A federally convicted felon has been charged following an argument with a sports official at a children's football game.
Keinan Anthony Clayter, 42, of Reading, walked on the field at Cocalico High School, 810 South 4th Street, Lancaster, "during an injury timeout and began yelling and swearing at the opposing team's coaches," East Cocalico police stated in a release on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
The incident happened at 7:43 p.m. on Oct. 14, according to the police release.

Dog Dead Inside Denver Home, Police Say
A Lancaster County man "shot and killed his dog inside his residence," on Thursday, police announced on Oct 23.
Mark Teague, 63, of Denver, shot the dog after an unknown "incident" at his home in the first block of Main Street in Denver at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Oct. 19, according to the release by East Cocalico police.
Officers arrived at his home following the shooting, after receiving reports of "shots fired," as stated in the release.

Woman Beats Man With Wood, Sprays Him With Aersol, Police In Lancaster Say
A domestic violence incident involving construction equipment has landed a 31-year-old woman with charges, authorities announced on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
Mariya Y. Gortman, of the Denver/Reinholds area, was arrested after police arrived at the scene of a reported domestic dispute and "found evidence that she sprayed the victim in the face with an aerosol can and struck him several times with a piece of wood, causing injuries," East Cocalico Police state in the release.
