Ephrata Man Points Loaded Gun At, Strikes Woman, Police Say
An Ephrata man is facing charges related to a domestic assault — again, court records show.
Steven Judd, 33, of Ephrata, is accused of "pointing a loaded handgun at the victim and striking her with the handgun," area police stated in a release on Thursday, Nov. 16.
Officers were called to a reported domestic dispute at Judd's home in the first block of Pacific Boulevard just before midnight on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

A 28-year-old registered sex offender injured a police officer during a tussle in Lititz, on Wednesday, Nov. 2, authorities say.
Derek Alan Manz fled before Lititz Borough police responded to a 911 call about a domestic disturbance at a home in the 400 Block of West Marion Street at 6:12 p.m., according to a release by the department.
Upon arrival, a woman told them that Manz assaulted and choked her. Her injuries were non-life-threatening, according to the police.

A granddaughter is accused of attacking her grandfather, trespassing, violating a proection order, and sending police on a foot pursuit during two separate incidents in May and June 2022, authorities say.
