Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Bystander Saves Stabbing Victim's Life In Parking Lot Of Odenton Bar Anne Arundel County police are investigating a mysterious stabbing after a victim walked into a hospital looking for treatment. Police were called to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center around 12:30 a.m., Sunday, April 16 after receiving reports that a stabbing victim walked in seeking treatment. Kidnapping Victim Forced Into Trunk Of Car Before Being Thrown Over Bridge In Glen Burnie Police are investigating a kidnapping after a woman was thrown into the trunk of a car in Glen Burnie. Officers were called to Crew Boats To Go in Baltimore around 7 a.m., Saturday, April 15 after a kidnapping victim had escaped, according to Anne Arundel County Police. Baltimore Detectives Investigating Overnight Murder Baltimore police are investigating a homicide after a 45-year-old man was found dead overnight. Officers were called to the 2700 block of Fisk Road to investigate a possible shooting around 1:30 a.m., Monday, April 17 when thy found the victim with gunshot wounds to the body. One Dead, Two Fighting For Life After Serious Crash In Baltimore Intersection One is dead and two are fighting for their life after a serious crash in Northwest Baltimore. Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Liberty Heights and North Hilton Avenue around 10:30 pm., Sunday, April 16 after receiving reports of a two-vehicle crash. Officers arrived to the scene and found a 20-year-old woman, 25-year-old man, and 61-year-old man suffering from serious injuries. One Killed In Hyattsville Double Shooting, $25K Reward Offered Prince George's County Police have identified a 24-year-old man who was shot over the weekend in Hyattsville. Rudy Perez Gutierrez and a second victim were found shot in the 2100 block of Guilford Road around 5:15 p.m., Friday, April 14. Gutierrez was pronounced dead on the scene. Pedestrian Found Dead On Side Of I-495 In College Park A fatal pedestrian crash on I-495 has shut down several lanes in College Park, authorities say. Maryland State Troopers noticed the crash around 2 p.m., Friday, April 14 after seeing two vehicles parked on the shoulder. The collision occurred in the area of southbound I-495 near Baltimore Avenue, according to Maryland State Police. Troopers were able to locate the victim on the shoulder of the road and pronounced them dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is not yet known. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.
