Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Man Electrocuted, Killed After Push Onto Subway Tracks In Baltimore Near Children's Museum A 28-year-old man is dead after a tragic accident in Baltimore, authorities confirm. Emergency crews rushed to the Port Discovery subway station in the 600 block of East Baltimore Street around 5:30 p.m. after receiving reports that a man had fallen onto the subway tracks. Maryland Woman Tried To Stab Teen To Death, Police Say A 23-year-old Baltimore woman has been arrested after reportedly trying to stab a teenager to death earlier this month. Arianna White is accused of stabbing a 19-year-old man at a home in the 400 block of Orchard Street on Sunday, April 2, according to Baltimore police. 'Case Of Mistaken Identity' Hagerstown Man Sentenced After Killing Wrong Man In 2013 Robbery A Hagerstown man has been sentenced to life in prison plus 40 years after being convicted of a 2013 murder. Vaughn Darvel Bellamy, 32, was sentenced for the crime on Tuesday, April 11, according to the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office. Bellamy is one of three men who were convicted of the murder of Alexander Buie in late 2013. The first of the three men to get sentenced was Bryan Byrd, who received life in prison in October 2022.
