13-Year-Old Girl Stabbed Near Delaware County Park: Police
One teenager is in custody after authorities say he stabbed another youth in Delaware County on Sunday, April 2. It happened in Upland Borough around 5:30 p.m., police said in a statement. Officers were called to the 400 block of Kent Lane near Upland Park to find a 13-year-old female victim with stab wounds to the back and stomach, the department wrote. Witnesses told investigators that they saw a 13-year-old boy approach the victim in a borough park before stabbing her twice "without provocation," according to the release.
