A 17-year-old who smashed the back window of a Bethlehem resident's car Tuesday morning was armed, according to city police. Authorities said they were called to the 1300 block of East 5th Street just after midnight on Dec. 19 for an attempted vehicle burglary. The victim said their car window had been shattered, triggering the alarm. Police searched the neighborhood and spotted a teen running near Edwards and Deschler streets, about a block north of the victim's driveway. Bomb Squad Clears Philadelphia Supermarket After Teens Tried Lighting Dynamite Sticks
A group of teens were unsuccessful in their plight to light sticks of dynamite in a Philadelphia grocery store Tuesday, June 20, police said. Three black males ranging from 16 to 19 years old were attempting to light the stick inside Fresh Grocer at 5301 Chew Avenue around 510 p.m., police said. Security recovered the dynamite and a bomb squad clear the scene, and removed the explosives.

Delco Teens In Stolen Car Were Armed With Stolen Gun, Police Claim
A pair of teenagers found driving in an allegedly stolen car were also carrying a stolen firearm, say authorities in Darby Township. A car reported stolen out of Marple Township was spotted in the northbound lane of Sharon Avenue in Sharon Hill around 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, police wrote in a release. Officers blocked the car at the intersection with Chester Pike forcing the driver to stop, the department said. 'Threatening' Social Media Posts Lead To Delco Teen's Arrest, Cops Say
A 14-year-old was arrested in the City of Chester after police say he made "several" social media posts threatening "local schools." The teen was taken into custody on East 22nd Street just after 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, Chester police said in a release. No further details were reported. City police previously said they investigated a social media post warning "At 1115 hours there will be shooting" on Wednesday, March 29. A mob of teenagers are on the loose after ransacking a Jamaican restaurant in a Philadelphia neighborhood, CBS3 reports. Video shows more than a dozen teens trashing Zion Cuisine on Chelten Avenue in the Germantown section, with one even throwing a chair through a glass panel at the front counter on Saturday, Aug. 6, the outlet says. Teen Shot In Prospect Park, Police Say
A teenager was shot in Prospect Park Monday evening, authorities said. Officers were called around 4 p.m. to the 600 block of 11th Avenue, where they found a 17-year-old boy.
