: Police ID Husband, Wife Found Dead In Lancaster County Home
Police have identified the couple found dead in what they say was a murder-suicide in a Lancaster County home early Wednesday, April 10. Mark E. Shepherd, 71, shot his wife Diane L. Shepherd, 63, and then himself in their home on the 300 block of Sun Hill Road in Penn Township, bringing police to the scene just after 4 a.m., Northern Lancaster County Regional Police said. Authorities are searching for an ATV rider who they said purposely crashed into a pursuing policeman's motorbike on Tuesday night, April 9. It happened around 7:15 p.m. when police noticed a group of 50 to 60 ATV riders on Interstate 95, the department said. One rider on a red quad broke away from the group with smoke coming from the rear of his ATV, according to police. One person is dead and a security guard is critically injured following a confrontation at a Fairmount gas station Tuesday night, April 9, Philadelphia police say. Man Shot Dead Inside Philly Store, Police Say
One man was shot to death inside a Kensington Avenue shop on Tuesday morning, April 9, Philadelphia police said in a release. Authorities responded to a shop on the 2800 block around 9:30 a.m., PPD said. They found an unidentified man in his 20s or 30s with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and took him to Temple Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, according to the department. Authorities are investigating the Morrisville crash that killed a borough man early last Friday, April 5.
