A 25-year-old Pennsylvania firefighter died by suicide at the fire station Thursday, authorities said. The woman's name was not released as of Saturday. Swatara police responding to the fire station found the victim around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, local police said. Officers met with firefighters at the scene and learned that a 25-year-old live-in firefighter had taken her own life in her bunk room, authorities said. A Pennsylvania man who shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself in front of the couple's infant daughter apparently had a long history of domestic violence, a news report says. ? Police Seek Dirt Bike, ATV Riders Who Fled From Swatara Officer
Authorities in Swatara are turning to the public in identifying unauthorized ATVs and a dirt bike who failed to stop for police. An officer patrolling along the 3800 block of Derry Street tried stopping the eastbound motorists on around 5 p.m. on April 8, local police said.
