A fatal crash is now known to have been caused by a tractor-trailer going the wrong way on Interstate 83 in York County, Pennsylvania, authorities explained late on Monday night. Hendry Tamarez Nunez, 47, of the 800 block of Showell Court, Baltimore, Maryland has been identified as the man who died at the scene of the crash, York County Coroner Pam Gay said. Two Tractor-Trailers Collide On Rt 30 Closing Part Of The Highway For Hours
Two tractor-trailers crashed on Route 30 on Wednesday, Oct. 19, authorities said. The crash happened between Exit PA 23 West-Walnut Street and Exit PA 23 East-New Holland Pike in East Lampeter Township around 3:26 p.m., according to emergency dispatchers and PennDOT. All lanes were closed and traffic was diverted to the Walnut Street exit while crews remained on the scene. It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the crash. The roadway reopened shortly before 7 p.m.

The crash happened in the westbound lanes between Exit: PA 23 EAST - NEW HOLLAND AVE/PIKE and Exit: US 222 NORTH - EPHRATA/READING around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, according to the Pennsylvania department of transportation. A woman has been charged with homicide and a DUI for a fatal crash on Route 30 last Friday, according to court records. Renee Emerick, 23, of Lancaster, has been charged in connection to a crash that killed one person and injured four others. Two men died in a crash in the eastbound lanes of Route 30 on Sunday, according to police. Coroner IDs Body Found Behind Target In Lancaster
The human remains found behind a Target along Route 30 have been identified, according to the Lancaster County coroner. Gene Lamar Engle, 59, of Lancaster, was found behind the Target in East Lampeter Township on Wednesday June 9, according to the coroner. The autopsy was performed on June 11. The heavy rain and winds closed Harrisburg Pike on Wednesday night, according to Manheim Township police. The high winds caused fallen trees and construction debris to be strewn throughout the area.
